Formerly potter to the Pacific Palisades in California, Dave embraced Eastern Hawai’i in 2020 as the Paradise where to make pots according to the Mingei principle that the essence of beauty is utility.
The work is high-fired reduction stoneware, giving the fire and local materials the final say in its completion.
